The most exciting way to race in IHRA Drag Racing game is against a live opponent across the network. To select a live opponent, select LIVE OPPONENT from the menu that is displayed just prior to the racing screen. The game will find a live opponent for you, or provide a server AI opponent if no multiplayer challengers are available (within 10 seconds maximum).
While you are waiting for an opponent, you may cancel from the wait screen at any time. When an opponent is found, the game will notify you and will ask you to confirm your intention to race. After confirming, you will be taken to the racing screen. From that point until the end of the race, racing proceeds just as in the case of single player racing. However, at the end of the race, both players will be instructed to wait until racing results from both players becomes available.
